The importance of sleep at day's end!

I cannot stress enough the importance of sleep at the end of the day. The week is so eventful that we need the well-deserved rest everyday. Sacrifice the sleep and spoil your week ahead, just like "Spare the rod and spoil the child".

The difference a well-rested sleep can do to our bodies is difficult to measure but easy to experience.

No more grumpiness and anger! It controls mood fluctuations and tiredness.

The advantages are as follows: acronym (FEELING)

1. Feeling deeply rested and fresh

2. Enthusiasm to take up the most difficult tasks.

3. Extra drive to finish tasks.

4. Less frustration when a task is not completed.

5. Inspiring others to be energetic.

6. Needing no stimulation to continue through the day.

7. Grasping what is new.

The following steps are recommended: (NEW)

1. No devices during the sleep.

2. Equal periods of rest each weekday.

3. Weed out bad thoughts during the day.

Make sure your body gets the recommended rest daily at the same interval of time. Stress the importance of keeping time to feel the required re-juvenation.

The weekend is the time to recover the lost time on sleep. We need the extra sleep in the weekends to make up for lost sleep time and to maintain the schedule of activities.

If this habit is cultivated in the kids as well, everybody in the house can continue to feel the same rhythm thereby increasing the well-being of the house.

Here's to a fresh start to a week!!
